Someone must be happy, you seem far to upset for one who is lucky to be alive Loki. And what is wrong with a powerful object speaking with you? It is the fact that I’m able to speak that makes me so jolly. Do not tell me you hold a grudge against whatever I’ve done to you in my past form.

Grudges? Of course I hold grudges. It’s those not holding grudges that make things so difficult, those believing that there’s good in everything. You were an object and you only have a mouth now and don’t look like Thor might just pick you up to smash somebody’s head anymore. There’s no reason for me not to hold any grudges.

“You say that as if it is something that is not pleasant to you,” Nike remarked, her brows furrowing slightly. “Yes, the goddess of Victory. Greetings to you as well.”

“I don’t particularly enjoy meddling with other pantheons,” he merely replied, shrugging lightly. “Gods are greedy and incredibly selfish beings, my own kinsmen are exhausting enough.”

Hey there.
darcy-will-taser-you:
I’ll be sure to be on the lookout for those things then. *she grinned softly, her eyes following his hands until they disappeared behind his back* Well, that’s because you think before you clobber. And yeah … Repeatedly punching … That’s certainly more Thor’s thing. *she chuckled softly, shaking her head*

Sometimes I wonder if he is actually capable of producing logical thoughts.. he tended to simply punch and ask later, which is just a cruel kind of attitude. [He chuckled softly, lightly sighing] It hardly surprises me that Odin saw him unfit to be a king.

“Hmm,” Bianca murmured, and though she knew not to cross this god she also knew to not underestimate him as well. Did he know what she was? OR did he think that she was a mortal? Bianca couldn’t also help but wonder how he could so easily say that he was a god when there were people who would not easily believe him but rather call him out as a madman.
She would not ask him about his banishment. That was for him to tell her if he wished, and not for the prying questions of her curiosity. “If you do not mind me asking, why do you think I should believe you? signor Loki?”
His gaze was still following her every movement, even the light shifts in her expression did not go unnoticed. If Loki was trained in one thing, then it was watching and observing. However, he still didn’t have much of a good feeling about this being. She seemed odd and everything but worthy of his trust just yet, maybe never.
“Believe me about what?”, he merely replied. “The Aesir, the banishment or me being a god? Whichever you might pick, I care not about your beliefs. It is your choice to believe what you will, I only make my own judgement out of your decision.” And that might be fatal, depending on how she would behave in the near future.

I have yet to figure just how comfortable I am with the sudden burst of people crossing my way — state your inquiries, strangers.

“You are Loki, yes?” Nike asked, smiling at him. She remembered him from her brief visit to his realm with Zeus, but she doubted that he would remember her. “I’m Nike, from the Greek pantheon.”

“….a greek.” He let out a small sigh, hands clasping behind his back. Yes, he’d heard of them. Oft enough, for his tastes. “The goddess of.. victory, if I recall correctly. Greetings.”

I have seen too many mortals rushing about to feel honoured. I fare as I always do, well enough not to be dead.

That is wonderful to hear! Being alive is indeed something to be happy about. Are you saying that mortals have been approaching you freely? Then you are meeting new people, is that not something to also be happy about?

…You are jolly enough for the both of us. No, I actually enjoy solitude more than being bugged by mortals - or other gods, including.. powerful objects that don’t usually talk.

“If you were more attractive probably but no I think I’m good.”

“I will not attend a stranger who offers me insults. Hold your tongue, girl. I’m not known to be the most patient or tolerant among the gods.”

Hey there.
darcy-will-taser-you:
Wow … *she quirked an eyebrow* You sound pretty amazing there. Sure you’re not just exaggerating to impress me? *she gave a playful smirk and flashed him a quick wink* In all seriousness though, you do sound amazing. You go about things using cunning and brains. I’ve always favored that over people who just think punching things is the answer to everything.

If I tried to impress you, I would either wear a different shape by now or burn something down. Alas, I’m not. Maybe another time. [He smirked, moving his arms behind his back.] Everybody can simply hit a thing until it is crushed, I prefer to keep everything intact in case I might need it. Repeatedly punching it, however, can also solve a problem, though that is most likely more my brother’s area of expertise.

A golden brow raised, his statement a confirmation of what she had been thinking. “A god?” she questioned, voice soft. But she knew of gods, cherubs, and monsters. She had seen them with her own eyes, hated and loved it with all her heart. How she had seen her kind as gods of the night that roamed the earth, and when she was turned into one, she had seen the wonder that came with being one of them.
But this man, this god was different, and she could sense that he was stronger and older, even more than Marius. “Aesir?” she asked again, head canting slightly, curiosity piqued. “Might I ask what is Aesir, signor?”
“A god indeed. A rather mighty one, if I dare say so.” A smirk played on his lips, eyes still carefully watching the other. By now, he’d gotten used to explaining others what he was and, if necessary, also making certain that they understood how easily he could turn against them and shove them out of his way, if need be. However, he didn’t deem that necessary with this new acquaintance just yet.
A soft hum escaped him, followed by a firm nod. “The gods of Asgard are named that. They are the highest of the Norse, above the Vanir, dwarves, giants and mortals. I am one of them, or at least I was. I have been banished for.. various reasons.” The main cause of his banishment, mind you, was Baldr’s death, though even now he hardly regretted it.

“Making someone uncomfortable with my presence isn’t exactly a new thing, Inquiries? I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking for.”

“As I said, inquiries. Do you want anything from me, yes or no?”
